A number of art galleries in the city exhibit works of varied groups of artists. Even works of different generations are displayed in an event. Many new art galleries have mushroomed in the last few years.

National Gallery of Modern Art showcases works of contemporary Indian artists. Other popular art venues are AIFACS Gallery, Delhi Art Gallery, Habiart Gallery, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, the Lalit Kala Akademi, the Palm Court Gallery, Ravindra Bhawan, Sakshi Art Gallery, Triveni Gallery and Visual Art Gallery.
